Finding Mediterranean food thanks to instagram

Social media and instagram are a great help for foodblogger. A colorful esthetic post of pasta from Betina brought me to SILBA in Kreis 6 close to Schauffhauserplatz. Betina and Roger Zimmermann are the owner of SILBA Restaurant.

The Chef is an experienced Italian guy from Ischia. The enjoyment of food is about more than how it tastes. Well, yes, here at SILBA this is absolutely true, the eyes eat, too. Betina and Roger are lovely, you feel immediately at home here. I love the atmosphere. You get the feeling that everybody knows each other. If you decide to go out for dinner alone, you take a seat the bar and have a nice chat and won’t get bored.

Seafood and Tapas

Find some tasty seafood pasta, tender veal with funghipolenta accompanied by a fruity Slowfood Chianti from Il vallone di Cecione, a wine maker in Tuscany. Beside a variety of antipasti and delicious dolci try the good wine or tapas.

The owners spent a long time of their life in Spain, this explains the Spanish influence combined with the Italian food on the menu. I love it.
