My personal highlight: Specialty coffee for every type and cozy ambience to stay for a zip – BBQ grilled meat & veggies on a bamboo charcoal grill for lunch or dinner from the pop-up Nightmarkt

How do you choose the perfect coffee shop? What influences your choice? Is it the type of spot that is modest but serious about excellent quality coffee. Do you look for a place that’s good for meetings, meetups, work dates, first dates, breakfast or lunch? Do you prefer sitting alone and appreciating a properly made Flat White? How about observing a traditional coffee person entering into a flat white world?

Once entered at Coffee Shack George the owner will ask you, how you love your coffee roast:intense fruity or just less intense and mild? I prefer the light nutty chocolate roast. At Coffee Shak you get the roasts from the brand The Barn from Berlin. They use the unique La Marzocco coffee machine (my top favorite one!). They serve also filter coffee, so just be curious enough to try what you like.

I had a delicious homemade cheesecake with my flat white. Get a croissant if you like a simple breakfast or even some hand made Greek sweets.

Pop-up restaurant with a Japanese Grill called Nightmarkt @Coffee Shack till September 2018

Get introduced to an absolute new menu available in town! BBQ chicken, pork or veggies grilled on a bamboo charcoal that tastes so pure and delicate. The ingredients chosen are all local and prepared with much attention from Chef Dan. Choose a menu for lunch, dinner or try their American Style brunch with Waffles or Tostadas.

The signature dish: Grilled chicken skin, no it’s not fat, it’s absolutely crispy and tasty and comes with a Yakitori Glaze & sesame. A further dish to recommend is the pork neck, marinated with a miso honey and some crispy garlic on the top.

Absolutely to try their sousvide prepared and BBQ grilled porchetta that is served in a lettuce leaf with some rice and aromatic spices.

As a dessert or part of the brunch, choose the Briochechurros, the cinnamon smell is irresistible! The milk cream super light and the ideal fit.

The costs for a plate starts at 5.5o CHF up to 7.50.

Address: Müllerstrasse 31, 8004 Zürich – Kreis 4 – 2 minutes walk from Stauffacher
